I have the opportunity to be part of a project which starts as a field and is then constructed into a new, complete development, which can be a very satisfying process. I'm also able to pass on the knowledge live gained over the past few years onto new colleagues who may be new to the industry which is very rewarding!

As a Buyer my role is varied and fast paced; it involves building relationships with site teams and managers, whilst also ensuring materials are ordered and delivered on time to meet deadlines on site.

I felt very welcome when I joined the Buying Team; everyone tries their best to help each other, working well together to get the job done!

My days can be extremely varied from completing measures, speaking to suppliers for latest material rates, liaising with clients on future or current prices to assisting members of the team with pricing queries.

In my role I have the opportunity to assist colleagues on a regular basis, devising safe solutions to solve difficult situations which I find rewarding.

Good communication will also be a key skill in the role.
