Job Title: Regional Plant Controller

Job Location: Redditch

Opportunity

We are recruiting for a Regional Plant Controller. The successful candidate will be responsible for arranging plant, tool and machinery to production teams across construction sites and using best practice to deal with queries and orders in a professional, timely and cost-effective manner.

The Successful Applicant will:
  • Have experience in a Hire Controller role (one year minimum preferred)

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Coordinating and overseeing all aspects of plant requirements for the set region, working closely with Site Managers and Contracts Managers to ensure effective productivity.
  • Coordinating and preparing weekly gas oil and diesel for plant and machinery across regional sites.
  • Working with diesel suppliers to achieve favourable rates and ensuring the best possible service level is achieved to meet business requirements.
  • Coordinating, overseeing and preparing all miscellaneous items for regional sites including distribution of items across business (Magnus, Lapwing etc).
  • Coordinating and overseeing all site mixer requirements under hire desk; ensuring that business processes are followed, and necessary action is taken.
  • General administrative duties to support the Plant department.

Package

o  Contract Type: Permanent

o   Weekly Hours: 07:30am to 16:30pm (we are open to discussing reasonable adjustments)

o   Holiday Allowance: 23 days plus bank holidays, with additional holiday based on service.
