Job Title: Training Coordinator

Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Training Coordinator to join our Health and Safety department. The successful candidate will be responsible for the coordination of all relevant Health and Safety related training across the business and will generally oversee all training programs, building relationships with third-party training providers to ensure quality, cost-effective training is delivered in line with individual competencies.
Experience in a similar Training Coordinator role within the Construction industry is essential.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Liaise with training providers, building relationships with third parties to secure the best rates and quality.
- Coordinate the bookings of all health and safety competence training for the workforce, ensuring delegates have all required information in advance.
- Liaise with senior leadership teams to ensure employees are trained in accordance with the competencies required for their role and carry out training needs assessments for the workforce, reporting findings and suggestions to senior leadership.
- Process training charges in a timely manner, ensuring invoice accuracy.
- Manage CITB grants, skills fund and Employer Network funds.
- Monitor delegate feedback, producing necessary reports to assess provider delivery and cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor NVQ upgrade process and compliance, escalating where necessary.
- Monitor upcoming or expiring qualifications across the business, scheduling refresher training in a timely manner to ensure all operatives are compliant with our SHE policy and best practice.
- Maintain records on our Biometric clocking system, ensuring all operative documents are up-to-date and securely stored.
- Ensure the company Training Matrix is kept up-to-date and includes all relevant information about site and individual qualifications (i.e. face fit, touchscreen and abrasive wheels training).
- Produce accurate reports as requested by the SHE Manager, and senior leadership teams.
- Responsive to department requests and enquiries.
- Other administrative duties as assigned.
The Successful Applicant will:
- Have experience in a similar Training Coordinator role (one year preferred).
- Be proficient in MS Office software (Excel & Microsoft Word).
- Demonstrate methodical administration skills with good attention to detail.
- Be able to build long-term external and internal relationships.
- Have excellent communication across all business levels, with a strong telephone manner.
- Have the ability to work independently and on own initiative when required.
- Be able to identify risks and find resolutions to potential problems or issues.
