Job Title: Trainee Accounts Administrator

Opportunity
We are now recruiting for a Trainee Accounts Administrator to join our Accounts team. You will assist the wider Accounts team in maintaining the company invoice system and be responsible for general administrative duties within the department.

The Successful Applicant will:
- Have a methodical approach, strong administration skills, and good attention to detail.
- Familiarity with general accounting principles and practices is advantageous.
- Previous experience within an accounts administrative role is desirable.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assisting the Accounts team in maintaining the company invoice system.
- Inputting supplier invoices ensuring accuracy and correct formatting.
- Reconciliation of supplier statements.
- Monitoring and maintaining the accounts email mailbox.
- Assisting and processing supplier payments.
- Building strong relationship with suppliers.
- Supporting with the preparation of month-end accounts.
- Processing weekly invoices and helping resolve related queries.
- Processing CIS payments and updating relevant systems.
- Processing and maintaining the subcontractor ledger – ensuring payments are up-to-date and liaising with other departments where required.
- Producing sales ledger invoices and chasing for payments.
- Producing weekly hire invoices.
- General ad-hoc administrative duties.
