Opportunity

We are currently looking for Quantity Surveyors and Estimators across a range of levels based out of Redditch, Bicester, and Leicester.

RM Contractors have been delivering quality residential groundworks and civil engineering services for almost 30 years. With regional offices in Worcestershire, Oxfordshire and Leicestershire we're well placed to serve the UK's top house builders operating in the Midlands and Home Counties. This is a great time to join RM Contractors as we continue to grow in a very competitive industry. You will assist with residential groundworks projects across the Midlands, South & East, ranging in values from £1million to £20 million, covering anything from small works to major programmes. Training will be given on all in-house procedures and full PPE provided for site visits.

Southern Office - Bicester

• Quantity Surveyor
• Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Midlands Office - Redditch

• Estimator/Senior Estimator
• Quantity Surveyor
• Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Eastern Office - Leicester

• Graduate Quantity Surveyor
• Trainee Quantity Surveyor

The Successful Applicant will:

• Hold previous surveying experience at the relevant position level (not required for Trainee Quantity Surveyor level).
• Hold a full valid UK driving licence.
• Be willing to commute to sites across the regions operational area.
• Have industry knowledge within construction/house building/groundworks.
• Ability to multi-task to department needs, plan and prioritise and shift priorities quickly in a fast-moving environment.
• Have excellent communication across all business levels.
• Build long-term external relationships.
• Hold a minimum of a Grade 4 (C) in GCSE Mathematics, English & Geography.
• Working hours 07:30am - 17:00pm.
