Job Title: Management Accountant

Job Location: Redditch

Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Management Accountant. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely management of the company’s financial operations, and supporting the Head of Finance by delivering monthly financial reports, managing HMRC obligations, and overseeing pension contributions, contributing to the smooth running and financial integrity of the business.


The Successful Applicant will:

  • Hold an ACCA, ACA, CIMA qualification – desirable.


Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Weekly PAYE payroll processing (joint responsibility)
  • Process and maintain the subcontractor ledger, ensuring payments are up to date
  • Produce Sales Ledger invoices and chase for payments where required
  • Perform and oversee monthly bank reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial records
  • Preparation and monitoring of budgets and cash flow forecasts
  • Cashflow updates (2 to 3 weekly)
  • Preparation of profit and loss accounts and balance sheets
  • Managing monthly HMRC tax and National Insurance payments
  • Producing key monthly reports for Head of Finance and wider senior management team as and when required
  • Manage the company Pension Scheme and quarterly invoicing
Package

o   Contract Type: Permanent

o   Weekly Hours: 08:00am to 14:00pm (we are open to discussing reasonable adjustments)

o   Holiday Allowance: 23 days plus bank holidays, with additional holiday based on service. For part-time employees, holiday entitlement will be calculated on a pro-rata basis
