Job Title: Business Administration Apprentice

Job Location: Redditch, Worcestershire

Opportunity:

We are currently seeking two Business Administration Apprentices. They will be responsible for providing day-to-day administrative support across key business areas, including Head Office, Plant and Buying functions.


Key responsibilities include:
  • Supporting the Administrative Manager in ensuring a welcoming, organised and efficient office
  • Handling communication tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and directing enquiries to the appropriate team or contact
  • Maintaining accurate and up to date filing systems
  • Supporting colleagues with document preparation, data entry and reporting
  • Help maintain facilities
  • Arrange and coordinate meetings, ensuring minutes are recorded and distributed when required
  • Support the Customer Care team, learning to resolve customer issues and enquiries via telephone and email
  • Balance work responsibilities with apprenticeship training

The Successful Applicant will have:
  • English GCSE Grade 4/C, Level 2 Functional Skills, or equivalent
  • Mathematics GCSE Grade 4/C, Level 2 Functional Skills, or equivalent
  • Strong organisational skills and good time management
  • Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • The ability to take responsibility and get things done independently
  • Friendly and helpful – happy to support others and go the extra mile

What We Offer:
  • A structured apprenticeship programme in Business Administration, leading to a Level 3 qualification
  • You’ll gain experience through both on-the-job learning and off-the-job training. Depending on the training provider, this could include college day release, online workshops, and regular assessor visits.
  • Exposure to learn across multiple business areas within a construction environment.
  • Opportunities to grow your career with us once you successfully complete the apprenticeship

 

Package

o   Contract Type: Apprentice

o   Weekly Hours: 07:30 - 16:30 (we are open to discussing reasonable adjustments)

o   Holiday Allowance: 23 days plus bank holidays, with additional holiday based on service

o   Company Pension scheme available
