Job Title: Site Engineer Apprentice
Job Location: Bicester, Oxfordshire
Opportunity:
We are currently seeking a Site Engineer Apprentice to join our southern region. You’ll gain hands on experience supporting construction projects, learn practical engineering skills and collaborate with engineers, contractors, and the Commercial teams to help ensure projects run smoothly.
Key responsibilities include:
- Observe and assist with day-to-day site operations
- Help monitor progress against plans and report updates to the engineering team
- Learn how to use basic surveying tools (including CAD) to check levels and positions
- Learn how to set up and monitor GPS machine control
- Assist engineers with marking out areas for foundations, drainage, road and other groundworks
- Record site measurements and observations for the engineering team
- Learn and follow site safety procedures
The Successful Applicant will have:
- English GCSE Grade 4/C, Level 2 Functional Skills, or equivalent
- Mathematics GCSE Grade 4/C, Level 2 Functional Skills, or equivalent
Please note as part of the training requirement you must be able to commute to either:
- Solihull College, Blossom Field Campus, Solihull, B91 1SB – 1 day per month
Or
- Opt for a remote based course in which for the examination period (3-4 days only) you would be required to commute to Barnsley Training Centre, S75 3SP

Package
o Contract Type: Apprentice
o Weekly Hours: 07:30 - 16:30 (we are open to discussing reasonable adjustments)
o Holiday Allowance: 23 days plus bank holidays, with additional holiday based on service
