Job Title: Accounts Assistant
Job Location: Redditch
Opportunity
Fixed-Term (9 months) contract
We are now recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join our Accounts team to perform all accounts tasks related to subcontractors; performing daily transactions, covering accounts payable, accounts receivable and CIS processing. You will report to the Junior Accounts Manager based in our regional office in Redditch.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Processing subcontractor invoices and resolving any related queries.
- Processing CIS payments and update relevant systems.
- Processing and maintaining the subcontractor ledger, ensuring payments are up to date and liaise with other departments where necessary.
- Provide information to senior management on request.
The Successful Applicant will:
- Hold Level 2 AAT (preferable) or equivalent proven experience.
- Have proven experience in an account's generalist role within groundworks/construction and relevant experience in subcontracting.
- Have knowledge of domestic VAT reverse charge.
- Have CIS knowledge.
- Be GDPR competent.
- Be proficient with MS office software (Word, Excel.)
- Have the ability to multi-task department needs, plan and prioritise and shift priorities quickly in a fast-moving environment.
- Can build long-term external relationships.
- Excellent communication across all business levels.
- Have the ability to problem solve.
- Work with high levels of accuracy.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information.

- Weekly Hours 08:00 - 16:00, Mon-Fri (or similar)
